First They Caved in to Evolution, Now They Deny God's Power Over His Creation and Deny His Word!

Not since "so called" Evangelicals caved into the smoke and mirror lies of evolution, have we had such a dark day in Christianity. Is this an overstatement? Time will certainly tell, but since the Bible is true and Satan is the Father of lies, I'll stick with God's Word, the Bible.

Upon reading yesterday and again today, the articles piling up and making such claims as "Evangelicals Split from President", a truer title should have been "Some Evangelicals Split Again From God!" Since Pastor Rick Warren is the most widely portrayed as one of these men, I decided to write the following E-mail message to him. I might write similar letters to the other 86 of them as well. Although these men weren't the ones responsible for caving in to evolution, these men seem to be cut from the same cloth. They have a form of godliness but are denying the power of God. They claim God is in control and it is not about you or I, yet their actions and causes seem to call into question if their lips, which confess Him as the Creator God, match the truth within their hearts.

Any Christian that has read his/her Bible can see example after example that God controls the weather. Who brought the "Great Flood" some 4,200 years ago? Who allowed Joseph to know by the Pharaoh's dream that there was going to be seven years of plenty, followed by seven years of drought? Who shut up the heavens so it wouldn't rain in Elijah's day? Who told us that world was round before scientists? Who told us about the ocean currents before we knew about them? Who told us about wind patterns before we knew them? Who brought the flies, as well as locust, frogs, turned water red, and had death come upon Egypt as a sign of His Power? Who also controlled the very sea as He opened a path for the Jews to cross the Red Sea on dry land? Who opened the Jordan River in like manner for the Jews to cross into the new land and allowed the prophets to touch that same river with their mantle and cross likewise? Who in the midst of a roaring sea in a storm calmed the sea with the words "Peace, Be Still"?

Do we believe God's Word anymore or are these now myths and fair tales? The world is watching to see if we believe it, before they will believe. Can you blame a skeptic when the church leaders, by their actions, are scoffing at God's Word and denying His power as the Creator? Are these leaders just deceived? Deceivers? Traitors?

God's word says clearly that He has gone, but He is returning for His people. Do we believe that? Do we think He is going to be late and we will have caused our own destruction? Not unless His word is not true! Please take a few minutes to read Matthew 24, especially verse 7 that says as we approach the end we can expect famines, and pestilences (such as Aids, Bird Flu's, TSDs), and earthquakes, in divers places. These are the beginning of sorrows and these and natural disasters will continue to increase as women in labor, harder and closer together. If we will look at this chapter, we can see that it appears we are entering, or are in these last days. Verse 10 tells us that many will be offended, betray one another, and hate one another. Many, yes God's word says MANY false prophets shall rise and shall (not might) deceive many (not a couple, but MANY). Iniquity shall (not might) abound, and love will wax cold. BUT, he that endures to the end, the same shall be saved! Which people does God say will be saved? ONLY, those of His who endure to the end (see the warnings to His Churches in Rev 2 and 3 and obey what you read!).

Know that the gospel is being preached in all the world already (verse 14) and the Lord says that when these happen, then the end shall (not might) come. How close are we today? Read 2 Timothy 3 and examine those around you, especially those who you know that claim to know the Lord. Rather than against God's word, denying His power, and giving people a false sense of hope in "mankind's ability to save itself" don't you think God's will is for us to use these signs to show people how close they might be to Judgment Day? God says His Spirit will not always strive with men. His Spirit, according to John 16:8, is here now to reprove (convict) the world of sin, righteousness and of judgment. If we as Christians will have eyes to see, read what the signs will be and work with the Holy Spirit, not against it, many could be saved and some might not get deceived. In Jeremiah's day, many prophets were playing the political correctness game. The said what they thought the people wanted to hear, and please the king for their gain. They gave people a false sense of peace. Since most prophets were in agreement, the people didn't want to hear Jeremiah. Many don't want to hear what I am saying, and the Bible predicts many won't and instead heed the message "peace, peace, we can fix things if we work together". This is the message of humanism. This is the lie of Satan, and sadly being given creditability when some popular leaders like Rick Warren bring it as the message. Some even went as far as blaming global warming for droughts and pestilence. If these are being brought on the world by God (which they are) then these false prophets are denying God's power and robbing unbelievers and believers who are deceived to ignore the fear of pending judgment. This fear of impending judgment is used by the Holy Spirit to motive some to turn to God and to cause such urgency in others that they are compelled to warn the lost to repent and live for Christ up to the last breath. When popular teachers promise peace, peace and the easy way when God says judgment is coming and the road to life is narrow and we must strive (agonize) to enter in because few will, the deceived will be more likely to ignore sound doctrine and the Holy Spirits plea of pending judgment because their ears are being tickled by MANY teachers they have heaped up for themselves. God's word say they shall turn away their ears from truth, and shall be turned to fables (2 Tim 4:4). Just for the record, evolution is a fable as is global warming. Just for the record the great flood is not as fable, nor was the Exodus account, or any part of God's Word.

The choice is yours! God has given man a free will, and will even allow him/her to ignore His truth and follow false teachers, even after they have been following Him. Many reading this will part of the many that turn away from God, or never turn to Him. You can decide to follow men and their teachings or read what God says, make sure you don't deny Him, and be one that obeyed Him (see Hebrews 5:9) and is provide eternal salvation. He warns in 2 Peter that those who begin following Him and turn away again will be worst off than one who has never made a decision for Jesus. He warns us about all this in Hebrews 2:1-3, but sadly many have been told they can't loose their salvation, even if they turn away and deny God. Consider that God never changes and read (2 Chron 15:2, 1 Chron 28:9, Deut 31:17, Josh 24:20, 2 King 21:4, 2 Chron 7:19-20, Isa 1:28; Ezra 8:22, Jer 17:13, Jer 23:33-40, Dan 11:30, Jonah 2:8-9, Matt 10:33, 2 Tim 2:11-13 carefully in light of these prior scriptures, Rev Chapters 2 and 3, and consider the lesson in Matthew 18:21-35 when someone says God won't take away something He gave you because of you bad behavior). You can join mankind in fixing man's problem and help man save himself, which the Bible says won't happen; or you can use these signs as a teaching tool to show people what the Bible says. Show them what God says, verses what many are saying. Show them that this proves how far along we are and that time is running out to repent, because God will one day stop striving with man. His Holy Spirit will quit one day convicting the world of sin, of righteousness and of judgment. A man or women that is no longer drawn to God, has been given over to the lies they want to believe, and will forever be lost. According to God's word, they spend eternity in the flames of hell which will never be quenched; where their worm will not die; and where there will be gnashing of teeth and conscious torment forever. If sin, treason against God, causes one to be placed there, how great an offense it must be to God.

The following is that E-mail I wrote to Pastor Warren. If you too would like to see these men repent for the sake of the lost who are getting mixed signals and are being deceived, please take the time to write him and others on the list of those who supported this. May God give us eyes to see and ears to hear what His Word says.

Dear Pastor Warren:

I am deeply concerned that you felt the need to sign this global warming initiative. When in the Bible was God not in control of the weather? Jesus had the power to calm the seas with His words; God was able to hold off rain as long as He wanted; He was able to turn up the heat at will, ask Jonah; God caused a dramatic climate change called the "Great Flood" or are all these now just mythology (explain the marine sediment on all mountain tops).

Pastor Warren, God said He created this world only a little over 6,000 years ago. This is evident by much science. I am both a scientist and a minister by trade. I used to believe in gap theories before science started to show through the effect of calibration errors that science was off by magnitudes.

Example:

Radiological testing suggests that the earth is billions of years old. We know the equipment is precise, but how is it calibrated and what factors are considered (or not considered?)? If we take two spent nuclear rods out of a reactor and check their radiation levels: then take one and leave it at normal room temperature and take the other and place it in a water bath for a years. Then we ask a scientist with radiation equipment to come and test them (we have removed the second from the water bath and he doesn't know it was in there) and let him know their starting radiation levels. He is asked to tell us how long they have been out of the reactor. He laughs as he analyzes the first and does his calculation and says "1 years exactly, with confidence". Then he looks puzzled as he takes on the second rod. It is much less radioactive than the first. It appears to his calculations that the rod came out several billion years ago, but even he knows that nuclear reactors were not around then. He instinctively asks, "What did you do to this rod?" When you tell him that it has been under water for a year he knows the problem. He has assumed STP (Standard Temperature and Pressures) and this rod had been underwater; therefore as he recalibrates for the water bath, he finds it came out the same time as the other rod.

Likewise, since radiology doesn't take into account a flood that left the world under water for 1 year, like the water bath above, they use STP conditions and are off by magnitudes.

Why Pastor Warren, can't even men of God have enough faith in God's word that they will take Him at 6 days? Why did our forefathers in religion cave in to evolution without any evidence of intermediaries? In fact, even some of those thought to be ones like Lucy, and Nebraska Man have been proven hoaxes!

If we only have 6,000 years (+, -) of earth history, and evidence of a Great Flood, and ice age, which likely followed as the cold air penetrated the "closed climate" and then found its way back to a steady state, under the hand of God, how can we be affecting it? How does the earth stay spinning? How does the orbit not get off track? How did the Bible know the earth was round? How did it know sea currents and hydrologic cycles............Feel like Job yet?

He, the Creator God made and sustains this world. 1 Volcanic eruption at His mere thought can cast 20 years worth of greenhouse gases into this atmosphere at a split second, yet the earth handles it under His hand.

Pastor Warren, God tell us what is coming! He tells us of increasing natural disasters. These things then must come or His word is a lie. Could the old world stop the rain? Of course not! Can we stop the climate changes that God may likely be using to bring about the fulfillment of His word? Do you or any of those who signed this want to explain to God how you helped in an effort to try and stop His word to be fulfilled? I know you couldn't, or at least hope that is the case.

When this world (humans) start to think they can "save themselves" which is humanism, those that truly believe God is in control, must use this sign of the times to preach the coming of the future Judgment, along with sin and need of righteousness (as working with the Holy Spirit).

The Lord said He would be back for us, don't you believe Him?

Pastor Warren, even your book Purpose Driven appears to suggest we will bring in the Kingdom of God, when scripture says all we can look forward to is further disasters, more apostasy, deceiving and being deceived. Unless God's word is false, this will happen. We then as Christians are to preach this truth in love and continue as the world fails around us because it will, or else God is a liar. Preaching peace, peace, and everything will work out may be ticklish to the ears, but is a lie and may keep more from Christ, than come to Him.

Just as Pastor's caved in on evolution, I fear you and others have unfortunately done the same on Global Warming for political correct, rather than believing God at His word. This is very unfortunate, because you could have used your spot light to "trust God" and rather have call Him a liar by your actions and stance. Since judgment will start at the house of God, I pray you will repent and publically change your mind. I will be praying for you and all who signed it, or supported it.
