GOD DOES NOT PLAY POLITICS
A Critique of Jim Willis' Book
"God's Politics"

Jim Wallis has written a book called "God's Politics". Which is an oxymoron, for the one true God, which is the God of the Bible, does not play politics, for God is not a politician. God does not need to compromise or make deals with his creation, in order for God to accomplish His work in Heaven or on earth. Man created politics not God. God's kingdom has no politics within it. It is always God's way in God's kingdom, and never man's way. God never needs to compromises. Why should He? He is not a politician in a political race. He was not elected to His office of Creator. He created everything seen and unseen, known and unknown, time, matter, energy, space, light and darkness. Therefore He controls everything, and He reins over His creation. God doesn't have to get anyone's approval or permission before He decides on anything he wants to do, or doesn't want to do.

However mankind has created another god, or gods, who are not the God of the Bible, but the god's of human wants and desires. These gods take on many forms. Paganism and Hinduism created many of these so-called gods. The New Age Movement, is nothing more than Paganism and Hinduism repackage into modern garb with new religious titles such as: Christian Science, Science of the mind, Unity, ES, Sciencetology, Mormonism, Jehovah Witness, etc. These religions for the most part do not believe in the Trinity, sin, hell, mans total depravity and mans need of a savior, which is the heart of true Christianity.

This report examines Jim Wallis book, "God's Politics", which mildly attacks the liberal Left but strongly attacks the conservative Right which is fundamentally Christian, that follows the one true God of Bible and not the created god's of the liberal Left or other man made religions, which comprise the rest of the so-called religions on Earth. Jim Wallis in his book lumps the gods of all religions into one god, which is wrong and misleading, for all religions do not believe the same. The religion of the liberal Left is supposed to be based on Christianity but at times it is hard to see how the liberal Left is truly Christian, because they pick and chose, and cut and paste which of God's commandments in the Bible they will follow and which of God's commandments they will not follow. The Jesus Group, which is made up of the mainline Protestant Church theologians is one of these pick and chose, cut and paste groups. These liberal Left Protestant Churches also belong to the World Council of Churches, which calls itself Christian, but I assure you it is not; it is really a Communist front organization that has killed many true Christians.

Satan and mankind have decided to rebel against the God of the Bible. The one and only true God gave Satan and mankind freewill to do so. But God is not the loser for their rebellious acts, Satan and mankind are. The Bible verse quoted in this report are based solely on the Key Word King James Version, with Strong's Dictionaries Concordance, Hebrew and Greek as published by AMG Publishers.

There is not a political Right or Left in God of the Bible kingdom. This is all man made rhetoric created to distort the truth. God has given mankind His commandments for righteous living. God blesses those who obey them and curses those who do not obey them (Ezekiel 18:1-32); He makes no exceptions. His commandments for living are found in His holy words found in the Bible. They are not hard to understand. In fact they are quite simple to understand. Mankind however willing chooses not to obey them, and tries to make them very hard to understand and thus, foolish and therefore unrealistic to obey.

"For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent. Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world? For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching that saved them that believe. For the Jews require a sign, and the Greeks seek after wisdom: But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness; But to them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God. Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men. For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called: But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to naught things that are; That no flesh should glory in his presence. But of Him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption; That according as it is written, He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord." (1 Corinthians 1:19-31)

Politicians and intellectuals are modern day Gnostics. They believe themselves to be wise in their own eyes, thus they are very prideful, believing they only have the best answers, when they are really foolish, unwise men, who know not God. Jim Willis believes he has a better way, and a better answer to the religious and social problems facing America today, by letting the prophetic voice of religion be heard. However he forgets to address mankind's biggest problem, which is sin. Faith he says must be free to challenge both the Right and the Left from a consistent moral ground. However he never defines what he means by "faith", or what the moral ground is. He quotes from scriptures, but he never tells you he is quoting from scriptures. He uses phases like "the ancient prophetic prescription" to have the reader believe that he is quoting some prophetic source other than the Bible.

Jim Willis states: "The values of politics are my concern…both parties (Democrat and Republican), and the nation, must let the prophetic voice of religion (whose religion?) be heard. Faith (whose faith?) must be free to challenge both the Right and the Left from a consistent moral (whose morals?) background."

Again, Willis never really defines whose faith he is talking about, or whose religion he is talking about or whose morals he is following. However I believe he wants his readers to assume he is talking about the Christian faith (God of the Bible). Then lets look at some scriptures he could of used to define whose faith and morals, and what religion he has in mind.

"But without faith it is impossible to please him; for he who cometh to God must believe he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. (Hebrews 11:6)

For a person to be a true Christian he must be always diligently seeking the God of the Bible. And He believes God is a trinity: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit, and the Bible is the inherent, infallible word of God. Thus a true Christian lives by God's commandments found in the Bible.

"Now ye are clean through the word which I (Jesus Christ) have spoken unto you. Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abidith in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned. If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples. As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love. If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love. These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full. This is my commandment. That ye love (agapeo -will to love) one another, as I have loved (agapeo - willed to love) you." (John 15:3:12)

For a person to be a true Christian he must also be continually abiding (living) in Jesus Christ, and obeying Him in all things. You cannot separate living in Jesus Christ and obeying His commandments for they are one in the same.

God always intended that His commandments and His word would influence people to live a godly life.

"My son, forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments. For length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee. Let not mercy and truth forsake thee, bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart. So shalt thou find favor and good understanding in the sight of God and man. Trust in the Lord (God) with all thine heart; and lean (trust) not in your thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct (guide) thy paths. Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the Lord, and depart from evil. It shall be health to thy navel (flesh) and marrow (strength) to thy bones. Honor the Lord with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase:"
(Proverbs 3:1-9)

Here God instructs mankind to keep His commandments and to trust Him and He shall guide them and give them who do so long life. Also He wants us to honor Him with our increase. Therefore helping those who cannot help themselves is important to those who obey His commandments. However helping those who can help themselves is not honoring God.

"These six things doth the Lord (God) hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him: A proud look (pride), a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood ( murdering the innocent in all forms, such as abortion, the weak , etc.), A heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, (thoughts of murdering, stealing, cheating, etc.), feet that be swift in running to mischief (harm, damage or injury), A false witness that speaketh lies, and he soweth discord among brethren."(Proverbs 6:16-19).

In these verses God hates the following: a prideful person, and all liars, and a murder: hearts that devises wicked thoughts, such as adulterers, people who are quick to harm another person a liars who lie to hurt people. If anyone supports abortion they are a murderer. Most politicians are very prideful: this is why they run for office in the first place. Noted here that 4-5 of the 7 things God hates is liars. Most politicians are liars, in fact this is what most politicians do BEST. This is why God is not a politician. God never lies to gain an advantage through deception. Yet politicians do this all the time. Politicians make promises they never intend to keep in order to be elected. They will even invoke the name of God or Jesus Christ when they are not religious at all, in order to look religious or pious. They might go to church to be seen, but not to seek God's help. Carrying a Bible under their arm is good publicity, but it doesn't make a person religious.

For Jim Wallis, in his book God's Politics" states: "God's politics remind us of the people our politics always neglect- the poor, the vulnerable, the left behind." The United States of American is the most generous nation in the world. It gives more money each year than any other nation in the world to help the helpless, not only through foreign aide, but also through food stamps, housing benefits, medical benefits etc., and through its churches. Frank Latterman a conservative republican senator got the Latterman Act in the State of California passed back in the 1980's, which provides the necessary funds that helps fund the mental and physical needs each year of the mentally retarded and physically handicap in the State of California. This you will never hear from a democrat or the mainline news media. Why? Because telling the people what good Christians have done in this country is politically incorrect.

Jim Wallis states: "God's politics challenge narrow national, ethnic, economic, or cultural self-interest, reminding us of a much wider world and creative human diversity of all those made in the image of his creator." God commands all nations and peoples of all cultures to willingly love Him and obey His commandments (John 14:15). God never divides His creation into economic, ethnic or cultural groups. This is what man does through his selfish self-interest and his false teaching of "The Theory of Evolution". Man created socialism, communism and democratic forms of government. Man also created nationalities such as: the Russians, Italians, Germans, English, etc. from these, man created sinful national interests. God allows man, through man's free will, to create governments and countries, but it was never God's will for man to do so. Creative human diversity (being different) is a political invention that allows people to be immoral (catering to their sin nature).

"Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators (men who associate with prostitutes - pimps), nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminates (homosexuals), nor abusers (sodomites) of themselves with mankind, Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God." (1 Corinthians 6:9-10)

God clearly states in His word that people who practice diversity, who are people that practice fornication, adultery, homosexuals, sodomites, thieves, covetousness, drunkards, people who use abusive language, and extortioners will not inherit His kingdom. So when later in His book Wallis states: What we need is nothing less than "Prophetic Politics". We most find a new moral and political language that transcends old divisions and seeks the common good (whose common good). Prophetic politics finds its center in fundamental "moral issues" such as children, diversity, family, community, citizenship, and ethics (others could be added such as nonviolence, tolerance, fairness, etc,) and tries to construct national directions to which many people across the political spectrum agree. It would speak directly to the proverb "without a vision, the people perish," and would offer genuine political vision that rises out of a biblical passages from prophetic texts. Hear Wallis recites Proverbs 29:18, but he doesn't complete it, thus taking it out of context.

"Where there is no vision, the people perish (become lawless): but he who keepeth the law (Gods commandments), happy is he."

Wallis prophetic politics is not based on God's word contained in the Bible and what it means or says, but on what he wants his god's word to mean and say. He prays on the mind of the "biblically illiterate". There is a saying "From the past there might be gold, but something new is never true." Willis wants us to believe that God wants us to accept immoral people as moral people. There is no such thing as a new moral language, this is an oxymoron, for God in His Ten Commandments has given mankind His moral agenda. Man created his immoral politics and it too is very old, therefore there is not a new political language, but the old language being repackaged as "new and improved". Man made sinful politics is based on, half-truths, lies and deception. Jesus said it best.

"If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you. If ye were of the world, the world would love his own; but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you. Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my sayings, they will keep yours also. But all these things will they do unto you for my name's sake, because they know not him who sent me. If I had not come and spoken unto them, they had not had sin; but now they have no cloak (covering) for their sins. He that hates me hateth me hateth my Father also." (John 15:18-23)

No we do not need prophetic politics. What we need are men just like the godly men who founded this country. They were statesman who gave their lives for the godly principles they believed in. They were not perfect; they did allow slavery, however they would never think about compromising their principles for any reason like our modern day politician continually does. Jim Wallis is a modern day politician trying to find unholy ground to compromise on. But a true Christian would never do this. This is why I believe very strongly few, if any, politicians will inherit God's kingdom.

"In Him (Jesus Christ) was life; and the life was the light (righteousness) of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness (unrighteousness) comprehended (understood) it not."(John 1:4-5) And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than the light, because their deeds were evil. For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his should be reproved (exposed). But he that doth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest (made known), that they are wrought in God. (John 3:19-21)

The disciples of Jesus Christ are the salt and light of the world (Matthew 5:13-16). Those who refuse to follow and obey Jesus Christ live in darkness. Darkness they desire to have because they willingly refuse to recognize Jesus as God, and Lord and Savior of the world, and willingly refuse to obey His commandments. Thus they are doomed to Hell.

Jim Willis states: God's politics remind us of the creation itself, a rich environment in which we are to be good stewards, not mere users, consumers, and exploiters. And God's politics plead with us to resolve, as much as possible, the inevitable conflicts among us without the terrible destruction of war.

God created our planet as the perfect environment for man to live on. He also created all the stars and universes we see at night. God made the moon that controls the ocean tides, the four seasons and the weather patterns. He put the planet at the correct distance from the sun, which He also created, so the planet would never get to hot or to cold. He created the winds that move the clouds, and the oceans that created the clouds and the clouds that make the rain that falls back to earth. God created the grass and the herbs, and the fruit trees, and the seeds that bring forth new grass, herbs and trees. He created the fish and the birds, male and female. God created the lizards, the insects, bees that pollinate the plants, the animals male and female, and mankind male and female. So there is nothing that God did not make. He said He would never destroy the earth again with a flood. Therefore He is in total control of the weather and what happens to planet Earth, and not man. Yes man in his love for his fellow man and respect for the creatures he shares the planet with should not pollute the air, the ground, the waterways and the oceans. But to create laws that hurt mankind for laws that protect a species, especially a flower is ridicules. God gave man laws on how to protect the soil, but man rejected these laws. If man obeyed God's laws on love for his fellow man we would not be having these problems. Also as mankind increases in numbers on the planet and developing nations keep on growing, new energy sources need to be developed, but also the existing energy sources need to be found. There have been some oil spills that have hurt some species, but for the most part the species in these remote areas have multiplied faster. The environmentalist claims that all oil fields and oil refinery plants are totally bad for earth's environment is totally unfounded, as well is their global warming scare tactics.

God explains where war comes from among mankind.

"From whence come wars and fighting among you? come they not hence, even of your lusts that war in your members? Ye lust and have not; ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain; ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not. Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts. Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity (hatred-war) with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God. Do ye think that the Scripture saith in vain, The spirit that dwelleth in us lusteth to envy? But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace to the humble. Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil (Satan), and he will flee from you. Draw nigh (closer) to God, and he will draw nigh (closer) to you. Cleanse your hands ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded. Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turn to mourning, and your joy to heaviness. Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up." (James 4:1-10)

Wars come amongst: people, nations, religions and politicians because of their sinful lusts. Out of prideful disobedience of Korah, and greedily lust of Balaam, they turn to the murdering and killing, the ways of Cain. They murder, plunder and conquer in order to satisfy their sinful lusts for power and pleasure that resides in their minds.

"Woe unto them! for they have gone the way of Cain, and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying (disobedience) of Core (Korah)." (Jude 1:11)

God's intentions from the beginning, was for man to follow Him and obey His commandments. But mankind in its rebellion against God refuses to do so. First: God cause a world wide flood to destroy man because he had become tremendously wicked, doing what was right in his own eyes. God then started over with Noah and his family, but their descendents rebelled against God. God next selected the Jewish people to be His faithful people on earth. But they too rebelled against Him. So He sent His Son, His only Son into the world to save mankind. But man also rejected him. Only a small number of people have accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. The vast majority of people have chosen man made ways and god's to follow to satisfy their sinful lusts..

Jim Wallis states: God's politics always reminds us of the ancient prophetic prescription to "choose life, so that you and your children may live," and challenge all the selective moralities that would choose one set of lives and issues over another. This challenges both the Right and the Left, offering for faith and politics in America and a new conversation of personal faith and political hope. People concerned about social change and hungry for spiritual values can actually combine those two quests. Too often politics and spirituality have been separated, polarized, and even put into competition with one another. We have been buffeted by private spiritualities that have no connection to public life and a secular politics showing distain for religion or even spiritual concerns. That leaves spirituality without social consequences and a politics with no soul. Political discourse that is connected from moral values quickly degenerates. How might we change our public life with values that many of us hold most dear? How can we connect a genuinely "Prophetic spirituality to the urgent need for social justice? This is the connection the world is waiting for."

Jim Wallis "Prophetic Spirituality" is not future telling, but articulating moral truths, not necessarily according to the Bible but according to all the religions of the world. Choosing life so that you and you children shall live is again a play on scriptures that reads:

"See I have set before thee this day life and good, and death and evil. In that I command thee this day to love the Lord thy God, to walk in his ways, and to keep his commandments and his statues and His judgments, that thou mayest live and multiply: and the Lord thy God shall bless thee in the land whither thou goest to posses it. But if thine heart turn away, so that thou wilt not hear, but shalt be drawn away, and worship other gods, and serve them; I denounce unto you this day, that ye shall surely perish (die), and that ye shall not prolong your days upon the land, whither thou passest over Jordan to go to posses it. I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:" (Deuteronomy 30:15-19)

Once again Jim Willis misses uses Scripture. In fact he will not tell us were the ancient saying comes from. Why? Because he wants to mix all the religions of the world into one voice and not according to God's word found in the Bible. Those who believe that all religions lead to the one true God have been enticed into believing a huge lie.

"Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth and the life: no man cometh unto the Father but by me."(John 14:6)

If Jesus is the only way for man to be received into God's kingdom, how can other religions save a person? They cannot. This then is what separates Christianity from all the other religions and makes it exclusive. This is why the world hates Jesus Christ and true Christianity. When Jesus rose from the dead and was seen for forty days talking, eating, and walking with over five hundred people at one time, He proved Himself to be God. No other religious leader has ever come back from the dead after three days and nights, being buried in a sealed tomb were there is no escape, unless someone lets them out.

"And death shall be chosen rather than life by all the residue of them that remain of this evil family, which remains in all the places whither I have driven them, saith the Lord of hosts." (Jeremiah 8:3)

The Jews were willing chose to follow other gods, therefore they chose death over life. So does the political Left and humanistic atheists, and Jim Willis shows from his Book that he also chooses other gods to follow, thus they chose death. Most of the political Left along with many atheists want God removed from the public square entirely. Why? Because they want their sinful behavior not only to be condoned and accepted as good and proper, but also to be the norm for all.

"And Joshua said unto the people (the Israelites), Ye cannot serve the Lord (God); for he is an holy God; he is a jealous God; he will not forgive your transgressions nor your sins. If ye forsake the Lord, and serve strange (other peoples) gods, then he will turn and do you hurt (harm), and consume (destroy) you, after that he hath done you good. And the people said unto Joshua, Nay; but we will serve the Lord. And Joshua said unto the people, Ye are witnesses against yourselves that ye have chosen you the Lord, to serve him. And they said, We are witnesses. Now therefore put away, said he, the strange gods which are among you, and incline your heart unto the Lord God of Israel. And the people said unto Joshua, The Lord our God will we serve, and his voice will we obey." (Joshua 24:19-24)

Choosing life is choosing to obey God of the Bible and choosing death is choosing not to obey Him. This is what God teaching in His Holy Scriptures. The only way too live is to obey Him. There is no other way to have eternal life in His kingdom! Death is living the rest of your life in eternal torment (Revelation 20:11-15).

For Jim Wallis to say that we can have social change, by tolerating unscriptural behavior is dead wrong. For the social change the Left fights for ignores God's morals and replaces them with man's sinful morals, which are an abomination to God of the Bible. These so called private spiritualities Wallis mentions are hard to understand, for he does not explain what he means. It seems to me that he is trying to make a case for spiritual people being equal to religious people. However being spiritual or religious does necessarily make a person moral or ethical. It all depends on what their spirituality and religion is based on.

The religious left I know well, for, I was trained by them in an Episcopalian seminary. They deny almost everything contained in the Bible. They deny Jesus' virgin birth, His resurrection, and His divinity. They say most of the Bible is mythology, and so does the majority of the Roman Catholic priests, Episcopal priests, Presbyterian ministers, Methodist ministers, Congregational ministers, etc. in the United States. In fact, I would not be surprised if Jim Walls doesn't believe in Jesus' virgin birth, His resurrection, or His divinity either. For if he did, I believe, he would preach all of God's commandments and not just a very few of them to make his political points.

Jim Willis states: In America there are now three major political options in our public life. The First is conservative on everything. This political option is clearly on the ascendancy (rise) in America, with most of the dominant ideas in the public square coming from the political Right. The second is liberal on everything, and today most from the liberal/left find themselves on the defensive. Third option is libertarianism-"just leave me alone and do not spend my money" option is growing in America.

I believe there is a forth option for American politics, which follows from prophetic religious tradition…. It is "traditional" or "conservative" on issues of family values, sexual integrity and personal responsibility, while being "progressive," "populist", or even "radical" on issues like poverty and racial justice. It affirms good stewardship on the earth and its resources, supports gender equality, and is more internationally (worldy) minded than nationalist-looking first to peacemaking and conflict resolution when it comes to foreign policy questions. The people it appeals to (many religious, but others not) are strong on issues such as marriage, raising kids, and individual ethics, but without being "right wing", reactionary, mean spirited, or scapegoating against any group of people, including gays and lesbians. They can be pro-life, pro-family and pro feminist, all at the same time. They think issues of "moral Character" are very important, both in a politician's personal life and in his or hers policy choices. Yet they are decidedly pro-poor, pro-radical reconciliation, critical of purely military solutions, and defenders of the environment. At the heart of the fourth option is the integral link between personal ethics and social justice. And it appeals to people who refuse to make false choices between the two. Who are these people? Many are religious: Catholics, black and Latino Christians, evangelicals who do not identify with the religious right and members of our denominational churches who want to put their faith in practice. They are Jews and Muslins who are guided by an active faith and not just a personal background. They are people who do not consider themselves "religious," but rather "spiritual," and would be drawn to a forth option in politics. And they are people-religious, spiritual, or not-who consider themselves shaped by a strong sense of moral values and long for a political commitment that reflects those values.

The forth option is really nothing more than the second option. It is all liberalism based on people's personal wants and desires and not on the God of the Bible wants and desires. I do not know what Wallis means when he says. "It appeals to people who refuses to make false choices" between ethics and social justice. There should never be a problem between the two. Unless one group of people is favored over another group regardless if they are qualified to do the job. Martin Luther King always preached equality for all, regardless of a person's skin. He wanted blacks to equally be taught and equally trained along side of the white people. He wanted black people to be equals mentally and to have a fair change at competing with white folk in the job market. He never intended them to get jobs they were not qualified to have. The liberals have help to keep the blacks second-class citizens through their social agendas like, the war on poverty programs, and the inept government school programs that are designed to dumb down every student, black or white. If it has to do with women in the job market, I believe women have had it the best in American. Yes things are not perfect but we have laws in place that help to protect them, however no man made form of government will ever be perfect. Only when Jesus Christ returns to earth to set up His government will the perfect form of government exist.

A lot of Catholics are very conservative. The Latino for the most part is Catholic and normally votes the way their church tells them to vote. For the Roman Catholic Church in American is always working hard in order to accomplish its agenda and believe me, its agenda is not pro-America but pro-church (power and riches) for the most part. WHERE EVER the Roman Catholic has had power in the world, true Christianity has suffered badly. In all of Europe where the Catholic Church ruled for centuries, today only four percent call themselves Christians. In South America where it has been really the only Church for hundreds of years, poverty and crime are out of control. In Australia only four percent are Christian. In India it has not many followers. It has lost many followers because it refuses to clean itself of the large number of active homosexual priests within it. Also a huge number of priest continual to father a large number of bastard babies whom the Church will not help.

The evangelicals who talk against the religious Right may not like a Jerry Faldwell or a Pat Robinson, but these evangelists for the most part are men who preach another Gospel like Robert Schuller, Rick Warren and Joel Olsteen.

The mainline protestant denominational churches for the most part as mentioned above have abandoned Christianity and they preach a liberal social gospel. This is why they have lost a huge number of their members to Christian evangelical churches. Their faith is no faith at all for they denounce the power of God and the reliability of the Bible. However they represent a very small number of so-called Christians.

The Jews are hopelessly lost and not many are spiritual at all. They have been preaching a rabbinical doctrine for centuries that has abandoned their God for a secular god of pleasure. This is why the Bible calls them the Synagogue of Satan (Revelation 2:9). However the Messianic Jewish movement is flourishing and is growing daily. These Jews will never abandon the teaching of Jesus Christ for out of them will come the 144,000 who will serve God greatly during the Great Tribulation. They certainly will not approve of a social Gospel that feeds the flesh and has nothing to do with the God of the Bible.

The Muslins are American's enemy and they will never accept homosexuals or lesbians, or abortion. They don't really like anyone who is not Muslin and does not follow the teaching of the Qur'an. And if you think you can negotiate with radical Muslims you are out of your mind.

Jesus' great commission to His followers was not to feed the poor but to make disciples in all nations…teaching them to obey all things whatsoever I commanded you." (Matthew 28:19-20)

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten (unique) Son, that whosoever believeth in him, should not perish, but have everlasting life." (John 3:16)

God wants to save every human being, but the majority of mankind chooses not to be saved. Mankind as a whole diligently sets itself apart from God, and chooses to have nothing to do with Him and Humanistic Atheism strongly believes anyone who believes in God is insane. Humanistic atheists hate God so much that they created The Theory of Evolution to destroy God in the minds of men. These people put labels on religious people and this is what Jim Wallis does when he puts political labels on Christians. Any one who believes the Bible is the infallible undeniable, word of God is branded a right wing extremist or nut and is labeled a bigot, intolerant, and a person who promotes hate speech. Liberals who divide Christians into the Right and the Left are doing so intentionally to destroy Christian influence in America, for a true Christian is neither on the Right or Left. Bible believing Christians founded American; yet this truth is seldom reported by the mainstream media or taught in our government schools. The reason why is our country has been taken over by humanistic atheists who despise Christians and their Bible.

These people try hard to get Bible believing fundamentalist labeled as evil and insane. James Dobson who fights hard for family values is labeled a right wing kook, because he believes marriage should only be between a man and a woman. God in the Garden of Eden did not make them Adam and Edward; He made them Adam and Eve.
It is hard to believe that Jim Willis is serious when he talks about spiritual people with strong moral values accepting and supporting homosexuals and lesbians and abortion.

"Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that you should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints. For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness (lewd, lustful sexual desires and lawlessness) and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ. I will therefore put you in remembrance, through ye once knew this, how the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed them that believed not. And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he has reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto judgment of the great day. Even as Sodom and Gomorra, and the cites about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication (unlawful sexual acts), and going after strange flesh (homosexual activities), are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire. Likewise also these filthy dreamers defile the flesh, despise dominion, and speak evil of dignities (God's prophets)." (Jude 1:3-8)

God wants His disciples to earnestly fight for their faith and not lay down like a coward. For there was in Jude's time, as today, men who deny the existence of God and Jesus' divinity. God will deal with these people, as He did with the angels in heaven that rebelled against Him. Practicing homosexuals and lesbians are an abomination to God. They cannot inherit the Kingdom of God and an eternal fire has been reserved for them. Also anyone who supports and encourages these people and their unrighteous acts shall suffer the same fate. Jim Willis obviously is a person who fits this mould, and anyone who supports Jim Willis in this matter will also receive the same reward.

Marriage is a sacred act that God intended to be between a man and a woman only. Anyone who says otherwise is also an abomination to God.

"Therefore shall a man leave his father and mother and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall become one flesh," (Genesis 2:24)

The homosexuals say that anyone who denies them the right to marry and the ability to raise children is not ethical, but unjust, and is violating their civil rights. Jim Willis states, it is unjust to make a social distinction between homosexuals and non-homosexuals for if you do you are reactionary, mean-spirited and scapegoating (blame shifting). Really! Poor God, I wonder if He knows this, for He fits this mould perfectly.

Trying to force God into man's way of thinking and governing is preposterous and will never happen. Mankind is so consumed with sin that it believes man is basically good and he able to solve all his problems without being spiritual and believing in God. Jim Willis really doesn't care what Gods word states on the matter, for he has a political agenda that doesn't include God but excludes Him. Willis is trying to create social justice, economic justice and peace without God, based on man's inherit goodness and abilities. This will never happen!

Jesus stated: "For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. And except those days be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened."
(Matthew 24:21-22)

Jim Willis totally forgets that man is a sinner in need of a savior and this savior can only be Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God that takes away the sins of the world. Man is not capable of saving himself and all the man made religions willing ignore this fact. All true believers and followers of Jesus Christ know this. It is a shame that Jim Willis is not a disciple of Jesus Christ. And if he is not with Jesus, than he has to be with Satan.

"Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels." (Mark 9:38)
